Belfast

This small urban garden in South Belfast has been designed with low maintenance in mind. The customer was interested in ‘care free space’ where they could entertain friends and family.

The existing Belfast brick walls where repaired and extended to give an enclosed courtyard feel. I selected a warm shade of sandstone paving to complement the brick.
The circular paved area has been accentuated with formal box hedge and traditional style of planting.

The finished garden is an attractive and desirable courtyard, easy to maintain and with the addition of recessed lighting provides an excellent extension to living room even during evenings.
